The studio

A family that flies together.

Extend Fitness Studio is Dallas’ longest-running pole and aerial fitness studio. Students train with award-winning instructors who make every class challenging and fun.

The studio began as The Girls Room and rebranded in 2015 as Extend Fitness Studio. It has been running for over a decade, which makes it the longest-running pole and aerial studio in Dallas, and it now makes its home at 136 Glass St. in the Uptown Myotherapy building, in the heart of the Design District.

The class list is wide on purpose: pole fitness and dance, exotic dance, Lyra hoop, silks, heels, flexibility and aerial conditioning, from beginner to advanced. The studio encourages students to grow across all of it rather than picking one lane and staying there.

“At EFS, we like to think of ourselves as a family. If you ever need help with a trick, have a question about a class, or just want someone to grab a coffee with, you never have to look very far.”

That family tone is policy, not just a slogan. Students cheer each other on, instructors check for injuries before class, and the FAQ answers the question “Who is pole for?” with one word: everyone. All genders are welcome in every class, and pole and aerial are open to all ages, body types and backgrounds.

Classes run weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons, with private events scheduled around your group. There is free parking in the lot behind the building and along Glass Street, so getting here is the easy part. The hard part is the climb, and that is the fun part too.
